Christmas Lush Favourites


Merry Christmas Darlings!

It's the first of those 3 magical days of the year, and early this afternoon I'm headed to my parents home for Christmas. It's always been a big deal in my family, much more so than birthdays and I'm so looking forward to it. I'm planning on roping a few members of my family in on the blog this year - if you want a peek into that then keep your eyes peeled!

Lush hauls are one of my guilty pleasures, I don't know why but it's something I'm always drawn to on here. So with that in mind I thought I'd share with you a few of my Lush Christmas favourites that I've purchased this holiday season.


I'm automatically drawn to spicy and woodsy scents, so something like Cinders is perfect for me, and is most definitely my favourite. However one thing I have to say is that Lush doesn't tend to do woodsy, spicy scents too well - have you smelt some of their perfumes? The supposedly 'woodsy' one smelt of stale tobacco - not so nice! With this in mind I have to deviate from my preferred scent family into something a little sweeter. 

I can't make my mind up about Snow Fairy - I bought the smallest bottle just to try since everyone raves about it, but if I'm honest, it's not very me. I'm more drawn to seductive kinds of scents like Estee Lauder's Sensuous Noir, or YSL Opium - so this really is something I'm not used to! However, I haven't used it in the shower yet, so I'm open to conversion!    

As for the rest, they're pretty much in the sweet/citrus category. I won't go into it because lets be honest,  describing scents is the most pointless thing in the world. We all smell things differently! All I can say is that none of them are floral - floral is just not for me. They all range in their price point, but each is under £5. 

I think my best recommendation is that you should head to a Lush store during the sales if you get the opportunity; they start to sell off all of their Christmas stock and you can get some great bargains, particularly the gift sets.

    The melting snowman is my total favourite, I love the smell this year, a lot more spicy. Have you tried the phoenix rising bath bomb? That one is another spicy one that stays all year round :)
    Not sure whether it was just a little mistake on the photo but incase you didn't know, santa's sack is actually a bubble bar, not a melt. Dont want you to miss out on all the bubbles by just plopping it into the bath :) Merry Christmas! xxx

    We don't have lush in Denmark, but I remember when I lived in Scotland I so wanted to like lush but walking in to a lush store is just too overwhelming, no store should smell like that. :) x

    I love cinders and Golden wonder, I love citrusy/spicy smells too. I'm not the biggest fan of snow fairy though, It's the one hings from lush I genuinly hate but I know my siter loves it so I's probably one of those things you either love or hate :)

    I do love a good lush haul :) I can't wait to get to the lush sale to hopefully pick up some exciting things! I got snow fairy for Christmas and I really love sweet scents so it has been perfect for me! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and a good holiday too! xx
