Mavala Delicious Colours Swatches

You might remember that I said I had some new Mavala Nail Varnishes from the Delicious Colours Collection (find out the shades here) and I've finally got round to swatching them for you.
I thought I'd go for a colour blocking look for a couple of days since my nails needed painting anyway, and I actually think it's a pretty fun look that's getting me in the mood for spring!

The formulation of them is fantastic, and they dry really quickly. I use 2 coats to get a completely opaque finish.
I have to say that the exception to the good formulation rule is the yellow, it was a little harder to work with and was uneven and streaky on the first coat. After the second one though all was forgiven. I think yellow is just a notoriously difficult colour to work with!

So what do you think? Which one is your favourite?

  4. Yellow is horrible to work with, my Barry M yellow is a big gloopy mess and takes an age to dry - even then it dries streaky!

You got a lucky break here - this yellow looks lovely!

    1. The one on my left hand is looking distinctly worse than the one on the right haha, I don't know what happened! I nipped into town to get your candle yesterday and I'll hopefully be posting it today as long as the post office near me isn't shut again! x
