Tanning dilemma and new hair extensions?

Okay so I'm in need of some help from you guys again!
Basically I would really like to get a bit of a tan going on, but I'm deadly against sun beds and I hate the smell of fake tan.

I know that Xen Tan is supposed to be able to avoid that biscuity smell, but I just feel like it's a ridiculous amount to pay if it actually does smell like biscuits after a couple of hours. And I also hate getting fake tan all over my sheets.

Do any of you lovelies have any recommendations for a tan that won't leave me smelling like I work at Mcvities and won't stain everything I touch orange?

I'm also thinking about trying synthetic hair extensions. I've never had synthetic ones before, always going for real remi hair. BUT, I have to style them every single day and so all that heat means that they dry out and get knackered within a month or two. I saw the Salon Confidential extensions over at Lippy In London, and am really tempted. Since they're synthetic I wont have to use heat and they will hold their style without me having to do it every single day.
I don't know though, what do you think?
Have any of you tried synthetic hair before?

I wish I could tell you I was doing something interesting today but alas, Land Law is calling and I need to head off into the library within the next half hour.

Have a great day buttercups,

Lea

  1. X tan does smell like a biscuit after a couple of hours of applying, though its the least smelling one I have tried. Dove gradual tanner is the only tanning product that I have used that doesn't smell at all. x
