Good Morning Beautiful,
When I'm on holiday, it's all about the easiest and quickest way possible to make myself look presentable. After all, who wants to spend hours getting ready when you could be out there in the sunshine?
For me, one of the quickest routes to that is some sort of messy braid. It's especially great for the daytime when you want to keep your hair off your face and yet still look pretty.
I really enjoy the first and last inspiration in particular. I like how they don't look perfect, and they have a textured quality to them. A tip for when you're on holiday is to take a spray bottle with you and fill it with sea water, then spritz it through your ends for that beachy texture.
It's better than any salt spray you can buy in a bottle!
Have a wonderful day everyone,
Lea

DeleteI love the last hairstyle!
ReplyDeleteMe too! It came in really handy on holiday! :) x
DeleteI love the first one! All this styles look like they should be quick and easy but I'd still need about five different youtube videos to learn how to do one ha xx
ReplyDeleteHaha me too! And then I give up and wing it myself :D x
DeleteI like this styles....I wish I had the dexterity and skill to pull any of them off haha. But alas, I do not.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite easy really, because it's so messy. Grab some bobby pins and see what happens! :) x

ReplyDeleteMe too :) x
DeleteLove them all! Not sure I could master any though! :)
ReplyDeleteofftobuttonmoon.blogspot.co.uk
The second one is super easy. It's just texturising spray and a load of grips, with some backcombing at the roots! :) x

Deletemy favourites are probably the last two but the bad thing is I'm not too good when it comes to creating some special braids. my hair is so long that my hands get tired when I try something, haha.

DeleteThey are all gorgeous but I would have no idea where to even start on my own hair! x
ReplyDeletehttp://gailygumdrops.blogspot.ie/
Always start with a texturising spray and backcombing the roots, then just have a play with pinning some sections and see what happens :) x
DeleteThese make me miss my long hair! I need to figure out some good short hair styles because I miss braid's and experimenting so much! These are gorgeous thanks for sharing! Happy friday :)
