Good afternoon lovelies, I hope you're all having a brilliant day :).
I've spent mine running a couple of errands and getting some (more) work done. I also had a lovely lunch of a smoked salmon potato salad with baby spinach and I'm looking forward to another skiing lesson tonight. After this one I'm allowed to go skiing on my own, (well, without an instructor, otherwise I'd be lonely) which I'm super excited for!
Unfortunately my day has also seen me having to ask someone to please cease all contact with me, which is out of character and not something that I take pleasure in at all.
You see I was asked to participate in a mini series on someone's blog (not going to name who because that's not fair), and it has all gone awry due to the owner of the blog being so incredibly rude to me.
The main thing that I can't get my head around after this incident is why someone would ask for contribution off someone as a favour to them and then be so rude, if they had to deviate slightly from the original plan because of unforeseen circumstances - especially someone who is a brand new blogger. I also don't understand why someone would feel the need to lie and misrepresent themselves and their blog in such a ridiculous and OTT manner. It was blatantly some bizarre attempt to appear 'better' than the people who she had asked to contribute, or perhaps to trick some people into thinking they were highly privileged to be asked.
My blog is not the most professional thing in the world, but I love it and I'm proud of it because I've grown it on my own rather than under false pretences. I know you all feel the same way about yours!
I have just written a (rather long) post about what happened but then thought that you guys really probably wouldn't be interested, so I thought I'd ask you, and I'll post it if anyone is actually curious about what happened.
I hope my evening is better than my day so far, and I hope you've had a better day than I have :D
